1. What does InfluSense do?

InfluSense helps you find the right creators before everyone else does.
Tell it what you are looking for in plain language and it searches across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, then scores creators based on things like reach, engagement, audience location, language, content fit and estimated cost.
Instead of giving you a long list of creators to manually go through, InfluSense tells you who actually fits and why. You can then save the creators you care about to Watchlists and monitor them over time, so you can spot when someone starts breaking out.

In simple terms, the underlying creator data comes from established data sources, while the intelligence around what it means and who is worth looking at comes from InfluSense.

11. How current is the data?

Accepted Answer

Search results are a snapshot of the creator when that search was run. We keep them that way so you can return to a report and see the same results you originally worked with.
If you want to keep tracking someone, add them to a Watchlist. Watchlists can refresh automatically every 24 or 48 hours, or you can refresh them yourself.
This is also how InfluSense alerts you when something important changes or a creator starts gaining momentum.

12. Why are some metrics blank rather than zero?

Accepted Answer

Because missing data does not mean zero.
If a platform tells us a metric is zero, we show zero. If that metric is not available for that creator or content type, we leave it blank rather than making up a number.
For example, Instagram does not provide every metric across every type of content. Where the data is not available, InfluSense tells you that rather than filling the gap with an estimate.

13. What triggers an alert?

Accepted Answer

InfluSense alerts you when something meaningful starts happening with a creator you are watching.
That could be sustained growth in views, a post performing unusually well compared with the creator’s normal audience size, or a piece of content that suddenly breaks out.
You can adjust how sensitive alerts are and how often a Watchlist refreshes. Alerts can be private to you or shared across your organisation, and appear through the alert bell and push notifications.

14. What uses tokens, and do unused ones roll over?

Tokens are used whenever InfluSense has to do new work for you. This includes running searches, analysing creators, adding or refreshing creators in Watchlists, finding contact details and certain Copilot actions.
Each action has a set token cost, and you can see your usage so you know where your tokens are going.
Tokens included in your monthly plan reset each billing period and do not roll over. Any additional top-up tokens you purchase stay in your account until you use them.

15. Who can see my reports, and is our data separate from other customers’?

Your reports and Watchlists stay within your organisation unless you choose to share them.
You can share them with specific people on your team, and they will appear under Shared with me in their account. You stay in control of what you have shared and can remove access when needed.
Each organisation’s data is kept separate, so other InfluSense customers cannot see your searches, reports, Watchlists or activity.

2. How do I run my first search?

Open the chat console and describe what you are looking for just like you would to someone on your team. Tell it the type of creator, market, language, platform or anything else that matters.
InfluSense turns that into a search, finds relevant creators and scores each one against what you asked for. Your results are automatically saved to Saved Reports, so you can come back to them anytime without running the search again.
There is also a guided tour when you first sign in to show you how everything works.

3. Which platforms do you cover?

InfluSense currently supports YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
You can search for creators, find similar creators and build Watchlists across all three platforms. YouTube currently has the deepest data coverage, including our advertising value estimates.
The same scoring engine works across every platform, so as we add more data sources and platforms, the way you search and evaluate creators stays the same.

4. What is the difference between a Search and Smart Discovery?

Search starts with what you are looking for. Tell InfluSense the type of creator, market, language, platform and other requirements, and it finds and scores the creators that best fit.
Smart Discovery starts with a creator you already like. Choose Find Similar on any creator, or add creators yourself, and InfluSense finds more creators like them. You can narrow it by things like country, language and category.
Unlike a one-off search, Smart Discovery can also keep running in the background. Schedule it and InfluSense will continue looking for new matches and let you know when it finds them.
Use Search when you know what you are looking for. Use Smart Discovery when you have found something good and want more of it.

5. How is the final score calculated?

Every creator is scored against the same core signals, including their audience, engagement, estimated cost, location, language and how closely their content matches what you asked for.
These signals are combined into one overall score, with engagement and cost fit carrying the most weight by default. You can also see the individual scores behind the final number, so you know what is driving the ranking rather than just seeing a number without context.

6. Can I change what the score prioritises?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can fine-tune how InfluSense ranks creators based on what matters most to your team.
For example, you might care more about finding emerging creators, getting the closest possible content match, staying within a certain budget or matching a specific market.
Your settings are saved for your organisation and used when scoring future searches.

7. Can I see why a creator scored the way they did?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We do not want you to have to blindly trust a score.
Alongside the score, InfluSense explains why a creator ranked the way they did, including what worked in their favour, what held them back and the key signals we used to make that decision.
This means you can quickly understand whether someone is genuinely relevant rather than relying on a score alone.

8. How is estimated advertising value calculated?

Accepted Answer

InfluSense looks at expected views alongside advertising rates for that creator’s category and market to estimate what their audience could be worth.
We show this as a range rather than pretending there is one exact number, and include a confidence level based on the data available.
Advertising value estimates are currently available on YouTube, with Instagram and TikTok support coming later.

9. Can I export a report?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any saved report can be exported to PDF for easy sharing or Excel if you want to work with the data yourself.
Your reports also stay saved inside InfluSense, so you can come back to previous searches without having to run them again.
